MAŁGORZATA MIRECKA

The article is a general introduction into issues of protection of environmental values. It contains an analysis of effective regulations concerning the problem, with a reference to changes introduced in them throughout last years. This analysis led to formulating a series of statements concerning the genesis of nature protection in Poland, legislative changes and connections between regulations concerning protection of environment, nature, agricultural land and forest land with spatial planning and land development. These conclusions should be treated as a contribution to developing a substantive and legal formula of protection of environmental values in master plans.
