A REPORT ON THE 5^TH PLENARY MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE ON ARCHITECTURE AND URBAN PLANNING OF THE POLISH ACADEMY OF SCIENCES IN 2011-2014 TERM

5^th Plenary Meeting of the Committee on Architecture and Urban Planning of the Polish Academy of Sciences took place on Saturday, 20^th October 2012 in Wrocław at the Faculty of Architecture of Wrocław University of Technology from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. as part of International Conference and Architecture Workshops “HABITAT – Social Architecture.” The programme of the meeting included the seminar part and the meeting of the Presidium of  The Committee on Architecture and Urban Planning.

Course of meeting:

1. Science seminar

• Science seminar of The Committee on Architecture and Urban Planning with  the leading title “Social Architecture” with the participation of members of architecture workshops and international scientific conference “HABITATY” – including students of the Faculty of Architecture
• welcome and introduction – Chairman of the Committee Prof. Zbigniew Bać
• presentation of the results of architecture workshops on the subject of social architecture, discussion of the assumptions and project solutions of social units – representatives of working teams
• the announcement of the results of architectural competition for students, exhibition of workshop and competition works
