THE VIRTUAL RECONSTRUCTION OF A SETTLEMENT. THE PROTO-CITY OF PUĊTUSK, 13TH–14TH CENTURY

The research was concerned with the application of information technologies used in archaeology, architecture design and related disciplines to produce a virtual reconstruction of a mediaeval settlement discovered in the castle courtyard in PuĊ‚tusk. The PuĊ‚tusk settlement stands out in Europe as a case of the so-called proto-city. The parametric technologies applied in the study were found to be a universal method of enhancing research methodology.
